Tulane Vs. LSU: First Leg

The Wave took on LSU in the first of a two game series that they are playing against them. The wave showed control of the game early, possessing the ball well and putting a few shots on net. Early in the second half, however, Michael Rizzuto found the back of the net from deep, taking advantage of the out of position goalie. Soon after the goal, an LSU attacker earned a red card, putting the Tigers down to 10 men. The Tigers, seemingly finding new life after this, poured on the pressure, pinning The Wave in their own half and hitting the post in the last five minutes of the match. The Wave's grit and hustle served to be enough to hold on to the win in this 1-0 victory. The two sides meet again on the 20th of March, at home this time for Tulane, to decide the winner of the series.

Cane's Fundraiser

Tulane Club Soccer is excited to announce that they will be teaming up with Cane's in a fundraiser on March 19th. In order to participate un the fundraiser, you can either go to the nearest Cane's to you or order Cane's through a food delivery app. If you choose to go to the Cane's, you will need to say that you are with Tulane Men's Club Soccer, and if you order through an app, the app has to have the option to add some sort of instruction or note to it, and in that you will need to type "Tulane Men's Club Soccer". By supporting our team in this Cane's fundraiser, a portion of the total goes towards our soccer team, and helps us fund our travel, uniforms, and equipment so we can continue representing our school nationally.

NC State Tournament

On March 27th, The Wave is travelling to the east coast to participate in North Carolina State University's Spring Classic soccer tournament. Tulane's mission for this season has been and will continue to be to face the best competition in the country in order to establish themselves as a national presence in club soccer, and we feel that travelling around the nation to face off against top name schools will help us achieve that goal. As of right now, the tournament is still on, however with the outbreak of the COVID-19 Virus the team will monitor whether it is in their best interest to still travel to North Carolina.
